Tiger Woods--everyone's coverboy in 1997 and most of 1998--may have shot his stock back up with endorsements, collectors and fans alike thanks to his stunning performance in the final two rounds of the Buick Open. Woods, who hadn't won a tournament in the U.S. in more than nine months, nearly missed the cut, but shot a course record 62 and then eagled the final hour to win the title in San Diego. That victory is bound to get Woods' back on the front pages again and resurrect more stories--at least until the Masters in April of this year.
