A well-balanced offering of memorabilia in this auction is the most diverse ever offered by SportsCards Plus. There is something for virtually every type of collector, starting with some remarkable original sports art. The auction will include dozens of one-of-a-kind original paintings from renowned artists Christopher Paluso, Daniel Smith, and Michael Elins. The cream of the crop is Paluso's signed original painting of Mickey Mantle, used to produce a highly sought after series of lithographs. A large group of game used bats is headlined by examples from Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle. Dozens of game used bats from some of the biggest stars of the late 1970s-1990s, originating from the collection of longtime Fleer photographer Lou Sauritch, will also be included. Other game used items include jerseys from Nolan Ryan ('73 Angels), Mike Piazza, Alex Rodriguez, Dan Marino, Kobe Bryant, Jason Kidd (Rare '02 Finals), Allen Iverson, and three from Michael Jordan ('92-'93 Bulls, and two 2001 Wizards). A spectacular c. 1985 Walter Payton game used home jersey should generate plenty of spirited bidding.

Autograph collectors can choose from a fabulous array of signed balls, photos, and display pieces from the likes of Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, Lou Gehrig, Walter Johnson, Cy Young, New York Yankees, Brooklyn Dodgers, etc. One of the most unique items in the sale is a vintage folk art baseball bench. The signatures on the balls include multiple Ruth, Cobb, and Foxx examples among other top tier Hall of Famers. Another fascinating lot includes three Joe DiMaggio insurance documents pertaining to his entrance into the U.S. Army in 1943.
