Sporting Life was a sports-oriented newspaper that was a competitor of Sporting News in the early years of the 20th century. These cards were sold by mail at the price of four cents per series, with each series containing a dozen cards. The 1½" by 2¾" cards have a black-and-white tinted photo on the front with various ads for Sporting Life on the reverse. To read an in-depth article click here.
