This is one of the tougher sets of the decade. The combination of the paper stock, inconsistent print quality and centering obstacles make this set a real chore in high-grade. There are also several great combo cards, including a Mantle/Aaron World Series Foes card. This was the only card that the two sluggers ever appeared on together. The All-Star card run finishes out the set and many of these cards were unfortunately peppered with print defects. The key rookie in the set is the #47 Roger Maris card, a collector favorite. All in all, this is a very challenging set, even for the most advanced collector. For an in-depth article, click here.
