The All-Star game has had its share of memorable moments over the years. Beginning in 1933, Babe Ruth christened the summer classic with a 2-run homer as the American League went on to defeat the National League 4-2. Since that first All Star Game, there have been unreal pitching performances like Carl Hubbell striking out Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx, Simmons and Cronin in order or Fernando Valenzuela matching that mark in 1986. How about Stan Musial's walk-off homer in 1955 or Ted Williams' 1946 performance where he clobbered the "eephus" pitch out of the yard? The magical moments are virtually endless and this set, spanning over half a century and growing, provide a great challenge to any collector. To read an in-depth article, click here.
