The 1981 Donruss Golf set started to gain interest once Tiger Woods came onto the golf scene. With the growth in popularity for the game of golf, golf cards became "mainstream" where they once were deemed secondary collectibles. Because there were not any previously released golf wax-pack products, this 60 card set contains 60 rookies cards, as every player pictured is considered an "RC" by hobby definition. The set has notoriously bad centering and displays some very rough edges as well. The NNO cards are considered part of the set.
