One of the most popular issues in football card history, these oversized "Tall Boys" remain a hobby staple. This set is full of tough short printed cards as well as several key cards like the Fred Biletnikoff rookie and key cards of Jack Kemp and George Blanda. The biggest key in the set, by far, is the famous Joe Namath rookie card. It is simply one of the most recognizable cards in the entire hobby. As far as condition obstacles go, this set is plagued by horrific centering (due to the narrow borders) and print defects. In addition, the oversized cards were more difficult to preserve over time so the corners and edges are often found with wear. Overall, this set is a cornerstone to any football card collection.
