About this set: One of the most famous subsets of the 1950s - this is one of the neatest parts of Bowman's swan song. The umpire cards are tough for a variety of reasons: They are all high numbers, they were generally disregarded by collectors at the time, they all have dark wood-grain borders, and centering/focus issues abound. A very tough subset - most of these umpires have PSA 8 populations around a dozen; some more, some less. The HOF Umpires are especially popular. Many of these cards are very rarely seen in high grade.
