This is, perhaps, one of the most undervalued sets of the 1960's. The combination of the star power, condition sensitivity and set size, this Topps issue is starting to get noticed. This Topps issue was intended to be handled as each card has a perforated image of the player on the front. Once folded, the image would "pop" from the center in order to create a "Stand Up" figure. Due the design and the fact that colored borders surround each card, finding high-grade examples is awfully tough. The Mickey Mantle card is, by far, the key to a set that also has a run of short printed cards, making completion even more difficult. To read an in-depth article, click here.
