PSA Q & A
Question:
In the world of baseball autographs, the baseball itself seems to be the most popular medium for signatures. Is it the same for other
sports like basketball and football?
Answer:
Great question. Lots of collectors enjoy obtaining signatures on baseballs, basketballs and footballs but, due to their size
(basketballs and footballs); some hobbyists actually prefer other mediums. For example, mini-helmets are fairly popular in the
world of football autographs since they are smaller in size. Other collectors enjoy the fact that things like official-sized
footballs are large because they make for impressive displays - as do full-sized football helmets. At the end of the day,
you have to choose the right medium for your collection but always consider potential space issues or you will be sorry.
