PSA Q & A Question: Why do O-Pee-Chee hockey cards generally sell for more than their Topps counterparts?Answer: Since the sport of hockey is more popular in Canada than in the United States, the Canadian issue (OPC) sells for a premium. In addition, since OPC cards are subject to more condition obstacles -- including severe rough-cuts at times -- the cards are usually much tougher in high-grade.
