PSA COLLECTOR'S CORNER
PSA Q & A Question: I have started to collect signed checks and was wondering if it was better to collect payroll checks or personal checks?Answer: Payroll checks tend to sell for a premium since they are more scarce and directly related to the game itself, a real piece of history with true sports content. The general plus of personal checks, versus payroll checks, is that most personal checks (of course) feature the signature on the face of the check... which makes for easy display. Payroll checks are endorsed on the reverse, making it a bit more challenging when it comes to display.
