attack. The Green Monster took a beating from this guy! In the following piece, we take a look at the cards which feature this Red Sox powerhouse and
recent Hall of Fame inductee.

PSA Q & A
Question:
I have heard of the term "photo-match" when it comes to game-used jerseys. What exactly does that mean?
Answer:
Well, when it comes to vintage flannel uniforms, the term comes up quite a bit. Sometimes, a jersey can be photo-matched to a particular photo taken during the period.
You will often hear the term used to match New York Yankee home pinstripe jerseys to photos. Since each jersey was hand-made, the pinstripes in the jerseys almost act
like a fingerprint. When you compare different jerseys, you can see the different pinstripe placement on each one. In fact, it can also be done with
non-pinstripe/non-Yankee jerseys by analyzing the button, patch and letter placement on a true gamer. These hand-made flannels can not only be beautiful and
rare but unique as well. It is not always easy to find images that can assist but, when you do find them, they can be a tremendous resource.

COLLECTORS SURVEY
How important is it, to you, if an athlete either is or is not a member of the Hall of Fame?
- Very Important - I won't collect any non-HOFers
- Fairly Important - I will collect non-HOFers but it really hurts the appeal of their collectibles
- Mildly Important - I will collect non-HOFers but the HOF designation gives a collectible a slight edge
- Unimportant - The HOF designation has no impact on my collecting habits
