Knowing When to Say "When"
Collectors are often faced with tough decisions. Do I make the next bid or do I stop? I really like this item but that one flaw keeps bugging me, should I let it go or buy it?
The key is finding a balance between being too conservative or picky versus no discrimination whatsoever. Where do we find the magic balance? In the following piece,
Joe Orlando takes a look at the dilemma that many collectors deal with prior to purchase. Click here to read more.

PSA Q & A
Question:
Why is it that certain autographs are worth substantially more on a baseball versus a photo or other medium?
Answer:
There are some players that signed a lot during their careers so it's not as if their autographs are necessarily rare, it's just that some players did not sign a
lot of baseballs or, more accurately, single-signed baseballs. Since there are a lot of collectors who only buy single-signed baseballs for their collection, the demand
for these items can be extremely strong. For example, Walter Johnson autographs (while certainly not easy to come by) can be located in the form of checks and cuts but
single-signed baseballs are virtually impossible to find. The result is a massive difference in price between a cut and a baseball.
