PSA SET REGISTRYSM SPOTLIGHT

Fight4oldDC - The Number One Current Finest All-Time NFL 75th Anniversary Team Set
This is definitely a set only a true fan would attempt to assemble. The composite consists of some of the finest football players, both vintage and modern, and requires their respective rookie cards for completion. This set won 'Best of the Registry' for 2007. At 100% complete, the set rating is 8.95, with a finest possible of 9.15. While there are various cards in this set that can be improved upon, 5 of the 48 required are the highest graded examples. Within those 5 is what must be this collectors' pride and joy, Bronko Nagurski's 1935 National Chicle rookie card graded PSA 9! Take a peek, this collector has even imaged this prized card. Congratulations! Click here to enjoy.

Half Grade Calculations
If you submit your cards to PSA for re-grade and they are upgraded, your certification number will remain the same and you will not need to re-add the card to your set. However, you will need to validate your set in order for the GPA and Rating to be updated. Once you have your grades, please login, go Edit Set, bring your set up, and validate!

PSA Set Registry V2
Work has begun on the Version 2 of the PSA Set Registry. We expect to launch sometime this Spring. The new program will allow you to track your inventory with price paid and source. You will be able to add multiple sets directly from your inventory. The addition of images will be much easier and the program will automatically adjust the size of your image for you. The Collectors Showcase area will be divided into categories and your showcase collection will be easier to locate. You will be able to post comments on other members' sets. Your PSA orders can be viewed within "My Set Registry" and you will be able to add new cards to your inventory, directly from the order screen. The program is based on the PCGS Set Registry (Coins) and the PCGS Currency Registry . If you have not visited these registries, we encourage you to do so.

Usernames vs. Logins
When we launch V2, you will be required to login using your email address and password. Your username will no longer be valid as a login. However, your username will be seen by your image albums and various other places in the Registry. Many of you are using your email address as your username. If you do not wish your email address to be viewable to the public, please login to your account in the next few weeks and update your username to something other than your email address. For example, if you name all of your sets the same thing, you might want to use that name as your username. The Smith Collection can be SmithCollection or Smith_Collection as the username. To update your account, go to http://www.psacard.com/Membership/login.html.

PSA Q & A

Question: Is there a difference in value between a personal check and a counter check in the autograph world?

Answer: Most collectors prefer the personal checks because the name of the player or celebrity often appears on the check itself and makes for a better display. They are unlike counter checks which often more plain from an aesthetic standpoint.
