PSA SET REVIEW

1971-72 Topps Hockey Set: That '70s Set
The 1971 Topps Hockey set does not get a ton of fanfare but seems to be increasing in popularity as time goes on. Anchored by the rookie card of Hall of Famer Ken Dryden, this set includes all the key stars of the era and a terribly tough checklist to boot. In the following piece, we find out if this Topps issue can holds its own against the larger and more dominant O-Pee-Chee version from the same season. Click here to read on.

1976 Topps Baseball Set: Beware of the Killer Bs
The 1976 Topps baseball set is often overshadowed by its more popular brethren. While it doesn't quite have the rookie card power of the 1975 Topps set or the sheer size of the 1972 Topps set, it does offer a very colorful design. In addition, and perhaps more importantly, the set contains Hank Aaron's last card from his playing days and the only recognized rookie of Hall of Fame pitcher Dennis Eckersley. PSA Q & A

Question: Why is it that you simply don't see that many single signed Lou Gehrig baseballs?

Answer: Well, compared to Babe Ruth, Gehrig was not a very social person. He also did not like to draw attention to himself. Even on dual signed or team signed baseballs, you will often notice that Gehrig would leave the sweet spot for Ruth and sign along a side panel. Single signed Gehrig baseballs do exist but they are much tougher to locate than Ruth single signed examples. Gehrig's signing habits were much like the man himself.
