PSA SET REVIEW
Collecting 1989 Score Football
During the 1980's, there were several key football card issues. Some were condition sensitive like the 1985 and 1986 Topps sets while others were backed by key rookie cards like the 1984 Topps set, led by Dan Marino and John Elway. The 1989 Score set is still considered one of the more important football issues of the decade with a truly spectacular array of rookie cards and a following that remains strong.

Powered by Power: A Look at the 1990 Leaf Baseball Set
In the modern era, there are not too many baseball productions that top the 1990 Leaf baseball card set in terms of importance and impact on the hobby. Beautiful, yet simple, in design, the 1990 Leaf set is filled with key rookies. This helped make it, by far, the top baseball card set in 1990. Led by keys in Frank Thomas and Sammy Sosa, this great set is still popular today.

PSA Q & A
Question:
How do you think the steroid controversy will affect the market for baseball cards?
Answer:
Great question. While it is unfortunate that this controversy has placed a cloud over the modern game, it has brought increased attention to the players of the past. In turn, a greater appreciation for their accomplishments has resulted. Even with the modern game, fans and collectors are usually willing to forgive and forget. No era of sport comes without some type of controversy and we expect the sport, and the hobby, to endure once again.
