PSA SET REVIEW

The 1991 Desert Shield Set: True Pre-War Cards
During the 1990-1991 Persian Gulf War, Topps sent "Desert Shield" baseball cards to troops stationed in the Middle East. The set, comprised of parallel cards of the standard 1991 regular issue set, is arguably one of the more difficult sets to complete in graded form in the past decade. Click here to learn more.

SET REGISTRY SPOTLIGHT

John Woody - The Number One Current Finest Alex Rodriguez Basic Set
One of our most active members is John Woody. Although his Rodriguez basic set is not complete (he also has a Barry Bonds Basic set with a high completion factor), at the rate he updates his sets, we predict he'll complete these sets by the end of the year. His Rodriguez set is 88.46% complete with a GPA of 9.35. The set is loaded with images. Click here to enjoy.

PSA Set Registry Luncheon at the National
Mark your calendars for Friday, July 29th for the annual PSA Set Registry luncheon. This year's National will be held at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. More details about the luncheon will be emailed to all members in coming weeks.

Important Notice Regarding Missing Spec Numbers
If you attempt to add a card to your set that does not have a spec number associated with it, you will get an error message. You should email [email protected] with the certification number of the card. Note that it is NOT necessary to send a scan of the card. The spec numbers are PSA's internal numbering system. A spec number error message does not mean that the card is not in the database. It merely means that we need to add the spec number to the Set Registry. There will be a high incident of missing spec numbers in modern sets, player sets, and HOF sets.

New Set Registry Special!

PSA Q & A

Question: Who is the number one autograph submission at PSA/DNA and why?

Answer: Mickey Mantle... Mantle represented the American Dream. He came from a small town to become the popular player in the game, the starting centerfielder for the New York Yankees during an incredibly dominant streak for the team. His monumental home runs, blazing speed, great smile and down-to-earth manner make his autograph one of the most, if not the most, sought-after in the hobby. He was, arguably, the most popular idol the game has ever seen.
