PSA SET REVIEW
The 1961 Topps Baseball Set: In A Word, "Expansive" 1961 was the first year of expansion in professional baseball, and Topps responded by "expanding" their yearly baseball set to a whopping 587 cards. Despite its somewhat dull design, many collectors now consider the 1961 Topps set a classic. It has several interesting variations, a few mistakes, and is among the toughest to complete of all Topps sets. Click here to read more.

PSA Q & A
Question:
I know PSA started grading hand-cut cards a couple of years ago but I rarely see any 1959 Bazooka examples in the marketplace -- why?
Answer:
The 1959 Bazooka cards are very, very tough for a couple of key reasons. First, most of the cards have creasing because many of the boxes are found in handled condition. Second, most of the examples that have been removed from the box were removed years ago and they were unfortunately cut inside the lines. The placement of the cards on the box created problems as well. These cards are certainly tough to locate in nice shape.
