Terrific T3's: One Collector's Look at the Turkey Red Cabinets
When the topic of the most beautiful card set comes up, many hobbyists start and stop with the Turkey Reds set, issued by the American Tobacco Company in 1910 and 1911. Unlike the "standard" sized tobacco cards of the day, the Turkey Reds are magnificent masterpieces. Click here to read more.

The Bidding Board was red hot last Thursday as Memory Lane Inc's Card and Ball Auction produced $930,000 in value on just 288 Lots. Incredible! The values per Lot reached by MLI continue to exceed any other Auction houses on a matched card to card basis!

Led by a PSA MINT 9 '41 Play Ball Joe DiMaggio that sold for nearly $100,000, the auction offerings were snapped up by a broad range of card and ball collectors. See a complete recap of all lot Realized prices at www.memorylaneinc.com — just click on Auction Results. (And make sure you request a complimentary catalog for their next event — the MLI mailing list is a list you want to be on if you take your card collecting seriously.) PSA SET REVIEW

1993 Topps Refractors: A New Era in Modern Sportscards
While the 1993 Topps Refractors represented a welcomed diversion from the basic sets, the card industry has saturated the market with these special cards ever since, rendering many of these types of cards virtually worthless within a year or two after their release. The 1993 Topps Refractor set was one that bucked this trend and it remains as coveted today as it was upon its unveiling. Click here to read more about it.

New! Game-Used Bat Registry Online!
Game-Used bats have become one of the most popular areas of sports memorabilia collecting. The idea of holding the same weapons that some of the mightiest hitters in the game used to make history is at the center of the appeal. Of all the pieces of equipment ordered by major league baseball players, no other is as custom designed as their bats and the unique qualities that each bat exhibits make them fun to collect. Now that PSA has established a standard to not only evaluate professional model bat authenticity, but quality as well, the PSA Set Registry can provide the venue to showcase your legendary lumber. We are currently offering 4 set compositions:

PSA Q & A

Question: Do you know how many cards were produced for 1955 Topps?

Answer: Good question. For virtually all card productions, with the exception of limited edition sets, we may never know exactly how many cards were produced for ANY year. It is a question that comes up quite a bit but, as far as we know, there are no official records of card production for the vast majority of issues.
