The Perfect Game is one of the scarcest feats in all of sports. A pitcher must not only hold the opposition hitless, he also must not issue a walk, hit a batter or allow anyone to reach first base. The pitcher or pitchers must retire all 27 batters he or they face. Some mound legends are on this exclusive list like Cy Young, Sandy Koufax and Randy Johnson. Some lesser names have enjoyed their moment in the sun as well like Len Barker and Tom Browning. Perhaps the most famous Perfect Game of all was thrown by Don Larsen in the 1956 World Series, the only one ever thrown in postseason play.
Notes: All balls autographed on the "sweet spot" receive 1 bonus point. Although Lee Richmond is also a member of this exclusive club, no graded balls for this player are known to exist at this time.
