Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA) was the primary sponsor for James Betzsold's 1st Annual Orange Holiday Youth Baseball Clinic, which took place on Saturday, January 9th in sunny Orange, CA. PSA underwrote the costs and a PSA employee, Bob Wilson organized the event, making it affordable for 120 youths to attend the clinic. The proceeds made it possible to provide league scholarships for youths who can not otherwise afford to participate in the Little League regular season.

President of PSA, Steve Rocchi, donated memorabilia for the raffle and presented The Do's & Don'ts of Sports Card Collecting where he provided the PSA Population Report and the Sportscard Market Report publications to all in attendance.

The mission of the baseball clinic was to bring together Little League Volunteers, Major League Baseball, Local and Corporate Sponsors, Parents, Youth and the Community. Everyone involved said they were committed to creating a memorable experience for the youth.

"This is more than a baseball clinic, it is a community event that will introduce the youth to role models," said Bob Wilson of PSA. "Professional players who grew up in Orange County are here to inspire and teach the youth who attended. There is already a plan to expand it next year and make it even better than it was this year."

Many baseball stars present at the clinic were picked not only for their skills but also for their character and desire to be role models. The instructors included Cleveland Indians' James Betzsold, who was also the director of the event; Colorado Rockies' Jason Dietrich; Minnesota Twins' Joe Fraser; Seattle Mariners' Rick Stassi; Texas Rangers' Teddy Silva; Minnesota Twins' Jeff Fergeson; and San Diego Padres' Scott Seal. In addition, Toronto Blue Jays' Shawn Green was a guest speaker at the event.

PSA believes in the future of our youth and is excited to be a part of such a positive experience in our community.
