CCANet2, Collectible Classics' next collector-friendly online auction, will go live June 22, and close July 2. The auction will offer 200 sports and non-sport lots expected to sell primarily in the $50-$150 range.
The offerings include a 1969 Topps partial set of 423 with stars and high numbers, PSA-graded cards and 20 lots of non-sport cards ranging from the 1880s to 1960s.
Among the autographs is a 1941 Cincinnati Reds ball signed by Bucky Walters and Paul Derringer, another ball with two tough 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates autographs, Jim Umbricht and Diomedes Olivo, and various other items signed by baseball Hall of Fame members and non-sport figures.
Collectible Classics typically has a good selection of books and publications, and CCANet2 features a complete set of 14 Baseball Joe books, a group of 25 Detroit Tigers programs and yearbooks, and more than 20 lots of college and pro football programs from as early as 1929. Memorabilia includes a Babe Ruth pen knife, figurines, advertising, photography and hobby publications.
Also up for auction are cards, memorabilia or both representing golf, hockey, basketball, boxing, horse racing, tennis, motorcycle racing and the Olympics.
Collectible Classics is accepting consignments for its August catalog auction, which will be available at the National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland.
